KCPHYSIO Mobile Clinic
We at KCphysio have taken into consideration that some people may not be able to attend our clinic, yet still require specialist treatment and support from a Chartered Physiotherapist.
Clients have several reasons and circumstances for choosing home visits. In some instances, the patient may be too advanced in age, too sick, injured, or in too much pain to leave their home. Many people suffer from debilitating conditions, and require intensive rehab for falls, balance dysfunctions, post -operative surgical procedures such as Total hip, total knee replacements or neurological conditions like Parkinsons’s, or MS. In some cases, clients would simply prefer to be treated at home where they feel most comfortable.
KCPhysio home visits, help to cut down on waiting and travelling times for clients, so a home visit is essentially more convenient. It is also an opportunity for us to understand the dynamics of the home environment and allows the rest of the family to gain a better understanding of their relative’s condition and help facilitate the treatment and management of the client’s problem.
Clinically KCPhysio provides comprehensive treatments such as falls management and prevention, orthopaedic rehabilitation, manual hands on therapy including medical acupuncture (IMS) and a functional rehab exercise programme. We also help develop the patient’s strength, range of motion, and provide advice with their posture to enable self -management. This intervention ensures a timely and effective return to the client’s functional baseline level of daily activity.
